About us
We are Bart and Esther. At the end of 2025, we moved from the Netherlands to Italy to realize our dream: creating a place for active vacationers where you can truly recharge, relax, and explore. A place where being outdoors, experiencing, and enjoying come naturally, allowing you to find peace and flourish.
We have carefully considered what we value most, such as exceptionally comfortable beds, which are often hard to find. Our goal is to provide a setting where you can follow your own plans while enjoying high-quality facilities. This includes a well-equipped kitchen for the occasional meal at home, and modern Mediterranean bathrooms that complement the authentic character of the building. We also offer various spots to dine, read, relax, or socialize; whether you seek a quiet retreat or a chance to meet others, the villa accommodates both.
The location was chosen with care: centrally located near amenities, yet immersed in nature. Here, your senses are stimulated by the Mediterranean scent of pine trees and various flowers. You will hear unique wildlife throughout the day and night, accompanied by the enthusiastic song of birds. Your eyes will be captivated by the beauty of the rolling Chianti hills, and at night, you can enjoy a clear, starry sky!
A place with character
We deliberately chose Chianti because this region brings together everything that is important to us. The landscape is open and green, with hills, vineyards, and olive trees as far as the eye can see. At the same time, it is an area steeped in history, with villages that have preserved their centuries-old character.
We fell in love with this country house and its surroundings because of the combination we value so much: peace, nature, activity, culture, and fine food. With this in mind, we have renovated Villa Fioriamo with great care and attention, respecting the character of the house while providing modern comforts.

We live on-site and are happy to share our tips for walks, restaurants, and special places in the area. This region is best discovered at your own pace—whether on foot, by bike, or by car. Villa Fioriamo is a place where you can explore Chianti and, at the end of the day, return to a home where everything is just right. Peaceful, personal, and surrounded by nature.
Villa Fioriamo
The name Villa Fioriamo means ‘to come into bloom.’ This represents how we wish to live here: in the rhythm of the seasons, with attention to what grows and emerges. This is reflected in the place itself: in the garden, in the atmosphere of the house, and in the way we interact with our guests. A place where you can slow down, recharge, and perhaps even bloom a little.
